Read instructions to ensure you are using the proper blade for each function. Blending cups are personal-sized, so food portions placed in the unit, should be sliced or chopped first, as per instructions.
The unit is very well built, with a solid base that stays in place during operation. Cups are made of durable plastic and the lids have an excellent tight seal. Cleaning is easy and should be done immediately after use. The pulse feature works by pressing down on the unit, until the desired consistency is achieved (very quickly). Blades are very sharp, handle and store carefully as recommended. You can drink right from the cups - great for on-the-go drinks, and the lids are convenient for storing the processed food for later.
