Did you know? American engineer Carl Sontheimer decided to design professional cooking appliances in 1970.  After inspiration from a trip to France.  By, 1972 Carl had redesinged the restuarant food processor for home use and the Cuisinart name was born.  Cuisinart introduced its first hand held and countertop blenders by 1993, with a goal of promoting the culinary experience.
